Lukáš Vacula is a Czech film and commercial director based in Prague.
His short film Death Lives (Smrt žije) was nominated for the Student Academy Awards, marking an important milestone in his filmmaking career. His work spans narrative film, documentary and commercial projects, with a focus on strong visual storytelling, distinctive atmosphere and character-driven narratives.
He is currently developing new narrative film projects while directing commercials and documentaries. His professional background also includes experience across Czech film and television productions for TV Prima, Czech Television and independent production companies.
Lukáš holds a Bachelor's degree in Film Directing from the Film Academy in Písek and previously graduated with a degree in Directing and Screenwriting.
